My passion for skincare began years ago during my training as an esthetician in Groningen and later in Zwolle. After working in the cosmetic industry for several years, I realized I wanted to do more for people with complex skin issues. When the part-time Skin Therapy program became available, I immediately signed up for the selection process. Fortunately, I was accepted and was finally able to make my dream a reality!

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, drawing, poetry, music, and nature—where I can often be found with my white shepherd dog, Norah. My personal goals? Getting my motorcycle license and traveling more—ideally, a road trip through Italy with a great playlist!

What I love most about this profession is the contact with people. During my time working as a beautician, I noticed just how much of a difference it can make when you truly take the time to listen to someone.

What strikes me time and again is how grateful—and sometimes emotional—people can be when they feel heard and realize they are being genuinely seen. I believe it is important to provide a space where someone feels at ease, can be themselves, and receives help based on trust. I bring that personal approach to my work as a skin therapist every single day.
