How does the treatment work?
We always start with a no-obligation free intake. We will discuss your skin desires and perform a comprehensive skin scan with the Observ520. With this scan, we take a look into the deeper layers of skin. We take 5 photos that show you what state your skin is in. We see what you are sensitive to and what your skin needs to look more even. This is how we determine which treatments we can use to fulfill your skin desire. You will receive a treatment plan after the analysis, in which we give you product and skin therapy treatment recommendations. Of course, we will answer your questions and discuss the cost.

The skin scan is non-binding and free of charge. The investment to remove impurities and achieve even skin depends on your needs and the treatment plan drawn up for you. There are different treatments and combination techniques. On average, rates are between €99 and €199 per treatment. We often see great results after just one treatment. We recommend a maintenance treatment 2-3 times a year for permanently beautiful skin. We always start with a home recommendation of products to lay a good foundation. We also, unfortunately, regularly encounter skin damage in the clinic due to unsafe equipment. As a skin therapist, we have extensive knowledge to safely remove your impurities. Are the treatments available to everyone?
Anyone who wants to work on beautiful skin is welcome. Through the skin scan, we find out which treatment combination is most appropriate. If you are pregnant or on antibiotics, we can only perform the milder treatments.
Is the treatment painful?
No, generally not. Deeper skin therapy treatments can be perceived as sensitive, however.
Exactly what treatments are you putting in place?
(Mild) medical peel
With medical peels we renew the skin in a controlled way with acids and enzymes. Thus, impurities, damages and small scars reduce and/or disappear. For this, we recommend multiple treatments.
TCA peel
Improves and evens out overall skin texture. A TCA peel falls under the medium or deep peels. This is a stronger exfoliation of 15 or 35% trichloroacetic acid. With this peel, you get completely new skin in 5 to 10 days. This can be accompanied by considerable difference suspension. After healing, you will have beautiful new and radiant skin. Because this peel gets deeper into the skin, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. This is reflected after several months in improved skin texture, reduced fine lines, refined pores and reduced pigmentation.
Medical microneedling
The medical Skinpen is our all-rounder. It gives your skin a true collagen boost, giving you stronger skin from the inside out. It is the only FDA-approved microneedling system in the world. Perfect for softening fine lines, acne scars, skin imperfections such as pigmentation and sagging. Safe for all skin types. You will see the final results after about 12 to 16 weeks.
Thulium laser
This laser is nicknamed the “baby facelaser. This cream of the crop of lasers refines your pores. It is a mild laser with all the benefits and minimal recovery time. We can perform a treatment with this laser even in the summer months. As with microneedling, the results take several weeks to show.
What does my skin look like after a treatment?
After treatment, your skin may be redder. This subsides within a few hours. With deeper treatments, scaling, temporary dryness or tightness may be a desired reaction. Beforehand, we always discuss if and how much recovery time there is after a treatment. After most treatments, we can apply a camouflage product so that the redness is not noticeable.
Do I need a referral letter to make an appointment?
No, a referral is not necessary. Skin therapy is readily available. Anyone who wants to work on beautiful skin is welcome.
How does the payment go?
By pin or exact cash after treatment. In case of a medical indication, you submit the invoice yourself to your supplemental health insurance company. If you do not have supplemental insurance, you can claim the cost as other health care expenses on your tax return.
What is the difference between a skin therapist and beautician?
A skin therapist has completed a college degree, is a paramedic, falls under the BIG Act (health care professions), carries a protected title and is listed in the paramedics quality register. In case of medical indications, reimbursement from the supplementary health insurance is possible. A skin therapist focuses on skin improvement and skin problems. A beautician generally has a mbo degree and focuses on the care and beautification of healthy skin and does not have a protected title.

Within skin therapy, we are experts in light and laser treatments, medical peels and combination treatments, but with these we cannot completely solve all skin problems. The skin is our largest organ and many different influences play into skin problems. What we do if we cannot solve your skin problem is to give you tools: refer you to the right specialist, general practitioner, dermatologist or orthomolecular nutritionist. A broader view and approach is desirable in complex skin problems.
