Skin therapy is the perfect profession for me: I like to work practically and like variety. No day, no treatment and no client is the same and that makes it exciting for me. In addition, it is a really fun challenge to create a personal treatment plan for each client. No two clients have the same need for help and every skin is different.

I see the treatment process as a collaboration. In the clinic we are taking great steps and we can already achieve great results. But your effort at home - for example with the right skin care - only makes the result really optimal and also sustainable. This is how you get the most out of your treatments!

During my first HBO study Wellbeing- & Vitality management in Belgium I learned how much the influence of well-being has on your skin and on how you feel. I take this knowledge with me every day in my work as a skin therapist. Think of stress management and relaxation techniques that contribute to skin improvement from the inside out.

Did you know that the profession of skin therapist - as we know it - only exists in the Netherlands and Australia? In my last year of study, I did a five-month internship with a Dermal Clinician in Melbourne. There I gained a lot of experience with cosmetic treatments and I saw how important good sun protection is in a country with intense UV radiation.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, looking for relaxation and spirituality or I like to play online games and board games. That way I can fully charge again! I am always in favor of spontaneous outings or trips. Many countries and places appeal to me, which often creates stress when planning. Which country will I discover next?
