Secretary

I am immensely proud of our fantastic team and feel honored to be the first to take on the role of secretary, with all the different duties that come with it. No two days are the same! For me, the location in Heerenveen feels almost like a second home. The grounds have always had a special meaning for me; as a small child I learned to walk on the Abe Lenstra grounds, which were then in Heerenveen-North. Years later I took my tourism course at Friesland College, and now I work at “the Laser Clinic” in the same stadium!

Previously I have worked with Nienke, Anke, Manon and Patrick, and Nienke and I have even been friends for over 25 years! Besides my work as a secretary, I have also been a volunteer at the Orangery at Oranjestein Estate in Oranjewoud for 10 years, where I help with openings and events.

My passion lies in music, good food and drink, and taking on new adventures! So whenever I get the chance, I like to travel, discover new cultures, go hiking, skydiving, and much more. Although I am one of the few on the team who does not speak Frisian (I can secretly do it though), I have been learning the Italian language for almost two years now!
