How does the treatment work?
We always start with a personal and no-obligation intake. During the consultation, we identify your needs, goals and/or skin problems. A comprehensive skin scan with the Observ520 gives us an inside look at your skin. We will discuss the photos and email them to you if you wish. Together with the outcome of the (medical) questionnaire, we will prepare an appropriate product recommendation for you. When we have the skin products in stock, you can take them right away and start your home treatment right away.

You can pay for skin products by pin or exact cash during the appointment. On average, the initial investment is about €190 for 4 months. Value for money is very important to us. Only camouflage products are eligible for reimbursement.

Do I need a referral letter to make an appointment?
No, a referral is not necessary. Skin therapy is readily available. Anyone who wants to work on beautiful skin is welcome.
What skin products do you work with?
We work exclusively with so-called cosmeceuticals. These are high-quality skin products recommended by a skin therapist or doctor, appropriate to your skin condition, skin desire and/or skin condition. Within the world of cosmeceuticals, we offer several brands. These are only products we fully support. So you won’t find entire product lines but only the pearls. We put together a personalized product recommendation where it is possible to combine different brands. We look critically at ingredient lists, packaging, formula and composition. The skin products contain honest active ingredients, without irritating additives such as drying alcohol and perfume. In addition, the price/quality must be right.
Why don't other skin products work for me?
What usually goes wrong with skin products you buy at the store or pharmacy is that they are generic products. These products usually lack the right (valuable) actives, the percentages are too low, the formulation is incorrect or the packaging causes any actives to dissipate like a jar of cream. In addition, what is a very important reason is that most people have cornified skin or a reduced skin barrier. As a result, even the good powerful serums do not work, simply because the product cannot soak into the skin but remains on the dead cell layer (stratum corneum).
What is the difference between a skin therapist and beautician?
A skin therapist has completed a college degree, is a paramedic, falls under the BIG Act (health care professions), carries a protected title and is listed in the paramedics quality register. In case of medical indications, reimbursement from the supplementary health insurance is possible. A skin therapist focuses on skin improvement and skin problems. A beautician generally has a mbo degree and focuses on the care and beautification of healthy skin and does not have a protected title.
I don't have any skin problems, can I also visit The Laser Clinic?
Absolutely! Anyone who would like beautiful skin or wants preventive skin treatment aimed at skin improvement is welcome. The intake is free and without obligation.
Is there opportunity for free parking at the venue?
Yes absolutely there is plenty of free parking.
Can I bring someone with me to the appointment?
It is not a problem to bring someone with you. Cozy right! We follow the COVID protocols from the RIVM and the Reitdiephaven Health Center. If it is not desired within the guidelines from the health center you will be notified in advance.
