The course in Skin Therapy was my second HBO study, which I completed in 2010 at the Hogeschool Utrecht. My first study was fashion design at Academy Minerva. When I was done with that, I worked for 10 years as a make-up artist in cosmetics stores, among other things. From fashion to make-up to skin care and now for years as a skin laser specialist.

After graduation, I started working as a skin therapist in the Skin Laser Clinic at the Wilhelmina Hospital Assen. In the 13 years I have been working I have gained a lot of experience in the field of Laser and light therapy within the Skin Laser Clinic at the Wilhelmina Hospital Assen. The line of communication with the dermatologists is short.

Now I am going to expand my knowledge and skills, because at The Laser Clinic much more is possible, such as peels and care advice. I look forward to having some more colleagues around me that I can learn from, and I look forward to making more people happy.

Manon did my maternity observation in 2012. So we’ve known each other for a long time. We also regularly attended conferences together.

I get the most satisfaction when I really help my clients with their skin problems; that they experience less hindrance and go through life more confident.
