So we take a look at your deeper skin layers and we explain your skin condition and needs. We also address your health and skin needs. Of course, we look further to assess whether underlying skin conditions are present. With appropriate product advice and possibly skin therapy treatments, we will help you strengthen your skin barrier and improve your skin appearance. How does the treatment work?<\/h5>

We use various techniques to improve sensitive skin. Here we choose an appropriate treatment suitable for your skin. Some examples include Skinpen microneedling, medical mild peels, LED therapy, laser therapy, IPL or a combination of these techniques. You are truly our focus.<\/p>\n

In sensitive skin without underlying skin disease, we see spectacular results in a short period of time. When you have an underlying skin condition, such as rosacea or eczema, the sensitivity is chronic. This means that you will always remain susceptible to an outbreak. Our goal is to stabilize this skin condition with the right products and possibly a skin-enhancing treatment. How does sensitive skin develop?<\/h5>

Sensitive skin can be caused by underlying (skin) conditions such as rosacea and eczema. However, environmental factors and improper use of cosmetics can also trigger sensitive skin. Your skin barrier plays an important role in all of these causes.<\/p>\n

Research shows that sensitive skin is associated with a deteriorated skin barrier. You can think of this as the resistance of your skin. A deteriorated skin barrier allows irritants or allergens to enter the skin easily and causes water to evaporate quickly from the skin. Also, a weak skin barrier is unable to properly protect the nerve endings, making the skin sensitive. The quality of the skin barrier depends in part on the presence of certain fats in the skin (lipids). It is well known that in sensitive skin, the composition of fats is not balanced, resulting in a reduced skin barrier. It is known that people with sensitive skin are five times more likely to develop allergies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
