We start with a comprehensive personal intake interview. In this we discuss your request for help and your skin needs. It is important for the skin therapist to make the correct skin therapy diagnosis during the intake. Therefore, we will take a closer look at your medical health, lifestyle and what you have tried so far in terms of products, treatments and medications. We also inspect your skin and we take a skin scan of 6 different photos with the Observ520 so we can take a look inside your skin. We will give you personal advice about your skin, product advice and a plan for possible skin therapy treatments with the corresponding fees.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

How does the treatment work?<\/h5>

After the intake, we can schedule an appointment to begin the treatment process. For optimal results, start with a home treatment using our recommended skin products. After 3 to 4 weeks, we make appointments for skin therapy laser treatment, microneedling, peeling or a combination of these treatments. You will receive detailed advice about this during the intake consultation. Depending on your skin condition, we usually start with 3 to 5 acne\/scar treatments. A treatment lasts an average of 45 to 60 minutes.<\/p>\n

For optimal results, we often combine several skin-enhancing techniques in one treatment. After each treatment, we evaluate how things are going and decide if we need to adjust the treatment plan. After 3 treatments we do an evaluation, possibly with another Observ520 skin scan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

But because we use intensive treatments to even out the skin and take the depth out of scars, the light falls differently on your skin and the scars are much less noticeable.
