We assess your skin with the Observ520 skin scan for the presence and depth of your dark spots. Hyperpigmentation involves excess melanin in the skin, causing dark spots to appear. Melasma requires multiple treatments. The course consists of treatments in the clinic, skin products for home use and change in dealing with sunlight. Skin therapy treatments build up in intensity. We usually start first with medical peels and spot-out treatment. We also enjoy working with the innovative Skinpen. In some cases we use laser therapy, and possibly medication may be advised as an adjunct. The skin therapist will work with you to decide which treatment option or combination of different treatments is best for your skin. We always tailor a plan to achieve the best results. It regularly happens that clients are already satisfied with the results achieved at the beginning of a course. Then, of course, there is no need to undergo more severe treatments. For the medical indication melasma, reimbursement from the supplementary health insurance is possible. You are responsible for submitting the invoice to the insurer. The Laser Clinic has contracts with all health insurance companies. Check the online calendar for current rates. Be aware that melasma requires a comprehensive approach, with reimbursement usually not sufficient for all treatments. Melasma requires multiple treatments. The course consists of treatments in the clinic, skin products for home use and change in dealing with sunlight. Skin therapy treatments build up in intensity. We usually start first with medical peels and spot-out treatment. We also enjoy working with the innovative Skinpen. In some cases we use laser therapy, and possibly medication may be advised as an adjunct. The skin therapist will work with you to decide which treatment option or combination of different treatments is best for your skin. We always tailor a plan to achieve the best results. Personally a very good experience with the laser clinic in Groningen. I went for an intake with Christianne six months ago.
