Pigment spots are dark discolorations in the skin. They make your skin uneven and become more common as you age. Sunlight also causes pigment spots. Do you recognize this too?<\/p>\n

When you expose your skin to sunlight, UVA or blue light from your monitor for long periods of time, your skin produces more pigment. Pigment is called melanin in the medical world. Melanin forms in the skin in response to UV light, but certain triggers can also cause excessive production of melanin. The result is pigment discoloration.<\/p>\n

First, we assess your skin with the Observ520 skin scan for the presence and depth of your pigmentation spots. Hyperpigmentation involves excess melanin in the skin, which causes the spots. This excess pigment can be either superficial or deeper in the skin. Pigment spots no longer disappear on their own. With skin therapy treatments, however, we can reduce pigmentation. In addition to the inspection of your skin, we will give you a questionnaire. How does the treatment work?<\/h5>

There are several treatment options for pigmentation spots. Laser treatments for deeper pigmentation spots, medical peels that renew the skin and the Skinpen. This device is an all-rounder and, among other things, strengthens your skin.
